The cameo streaks continue! Fred Armisen, Alec Baldwin, Tina Fey, Chris Rock and Jason Sudeikis have appeared at least once per season since Season 41. In terms of diversity, this season saw the first two female Asian hosts (Awkwafina and Sandra Oh) since Lucy Liu hosted way back in Season 26. Though the host count for people of color dropped from last season, 7 women hosted the show which is on par with the past few years. With the conclusion of this season, Jost and Che have now anchored the Update desk the longest (in terms of duos). Kenan continues to be the longest serving cast member on the show with 16 seasons under his belt and he will be back in the fall for his 17th! Kate McKinnon is now the longest serving female cast member (after Vanessa Bayer), having joined the show in Season 37.
